Mono Vampire celebrated TBSL title. They fired past Hitech to sweep the championship series. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 29-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Mono Vampire had a 29-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) contributed with 19 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Augustus Gilchrist (208-89, college: S.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds and American-Bahamas guard Mark Cornelius (190-88, college: Mass.-Lowell) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Hitech.
