Hitech - Mono Vampire 76-78

Mono Vampire rallied past Hitech in the Finals opener. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 25-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Mono Vampire outrebounded Hitech 53-34 including 20 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Hitech helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Avery Scharer (188-86, college: Shoreline CC) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals and American-Bahamas guard Mark Cornelius (190-88, college: Mass.-Lowell) added 13 points in the effort for Hitech. Hitech's coach Chris Daleo tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Mad Goat - Mono Thew 92-83

Mad Goat held off Mono Thew to claim Bronze medals. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 22-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. Mad Goat players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American-Filipino guard Taylor Statham (198-92, college: CS San Bernar.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) chipped in 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American center Anthony McClain (211-88, college: Cincinnati) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds and the other American import forward Patrick Sanders (201-85, college: Cal-Irvine) scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
