Mono Vampire - Mono Thew 99-82

Mono Vampire edged Mono Thew to take 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. Mono Vampire dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Mono Thew's 46. Mono Vampire forced 23 Mono Thew turnovers and outrebounded them 36-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Sirapong Boonyai (-89) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Citr Phntowerocn answered with 20 points and 5 steals and Poomin Singhasem added 14 points and 6 steals (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Mono Thew. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Hitech - Mad Goat 84-71

Hitech knocked down Mad Goat in the playoffs opener. Hitech players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American-Bahamas guard Mark Cornelius (190-88, college: Mass.-Lowell) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and American forward Augustus Gilchrist (208-89, college: S.Florida) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Hitech's coach Chris Daleo used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Nick Demusis (193, college: Whittier) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Hitech and five Mad Goat players scored in double figures.

Nattapol Kupradit (G) top-scored for the winners 25 points and Attapong Leelapipatkul (G) netted 17. Hi-Tech, OSK and PEA meanwhile are with 3-1 records.
