SEA Games: Thailand clinch Gold in Myanmar

Thailand clinched the Gold medals at the 27th SEA Games in Myanmar. They claimed four games in as many games played at the tournament. Thailand finished their campaign with a 66:52 victory over Indonesia. Naruemol Banmoo (185-C-87) scored 16 points to lead the charge. Indonesia finished in the fourth position at 1-3 record.
Indonesia grabbed a 22:13 lead after ten minutes. But the Thai team went on a 25:4 rally and established a 38:26 halftime lead. Thailand stretched the margin to as many as 14 points at the final intermission. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth quarter and Thailand cruised to the win. Juthamas Jantakan (174-G-85) had 12 points, while Chonticha Chirdpetcharat (175-F-81) accounted for 10 points in the victory. Yuni Anggraeni (175-F-84) and Wulam Ayuningrum (174-G/F-85) responded with 9 points apiece in the win.
