Thailand opened the 2012 SEABA Cup with victory. The hosts knock down Singapore in Chiang Mai. Chaiwat Kaedum (195-C-83) scored 11 points to lead the winners.
Singapore led throughout the opening quarter building a 20:18 advantage at the first break. Thailand pulled ahead in the second frame. The hosts ensured a 35:28 halftime lead. They boosted the lead early in the third term 46:38. But Singapore strongly finished the quarter and retained advantage at 50:48. Thailand surged back in charge at the start of the final term. They maintained the lead throughout the fourth stanza sealing a comfortable win at the end. Wutipong Dasom netted 10 points and 8 rebounds, while Sukhdavb Ghogar added 9 points in the victory. Wong Wei Long (172-G-88) answered with 18 points for Singapore. Desmond Wei Jie Oh (176-F-86) netted 10 points in defeat.

American Gregoryshon Magee (206-F) had a great game in the last round for Mad Goat and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 14. The forward had a double-double of 35 points and seventeen rebounds, while his team lost the game against TGE (#3, 10-5) 96-101. Mad Goat maintains the 8th position in Thailand TBL. The biggest surprise of round 14 was guest Black Scorpions' (6-8) easy road victory over 5th ranked Bangkok Tigers (5-9) 104-89 on Saturday evening.
