Mono Vampires beat Mono-Thew in Game 2 take the TBL 2015 crown! - Oct 10, 2015

After going through the season with a 9-1 record to finish 1st in the regular season standings, Mono Vampire have swept through the playoffs to be the champions of Thailand Basketball League 2015.
After winning in Game one 68-58 on their own home court, Mono Vampire would have to play on Mono Thewphaingarm's home court to sweep for the title.
Tawachai Sukthub (16 points, 6 rebounds) started the game out on fire for Mono Thewphaingarm with 10 first quarter points that kept both teams close. Mono Vampire would lead 16-15 after the first period.
The two teams would still be trading shots in the second quarter but Mono Thewphaingarm would take a go-ahead buzzer beating three point shot from Panurat Chatsiriyingyong off a well set play.
Mono Vampire slowly crept away in the last half of the game. Anthony McClain (213-C-88, college: Cincinnati) (16 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks) and Darongpan Apiromvilaichai (185-G-85) (21 points, 6 rebounds) had their way against the Mono Thewphaingarm defense. Mono Thewphaingarm were left with only 1 point guard in the clutch when Darunpong Apriromuilaichai fouled out and that pretty much sealed the deal.
Mono Vampire would close it out 67-58.

This will be Mono Vampire first TBL Championship since establishing their team in February 2014. They finished in 3rd place last year.
