She received multiple other awards, was named the Defensive Player of the Year, Center of the Year, and was voted to the First Team and Defensive Team.
With Hsiao's excellent performance, the champion team Cathay Life Tigers achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 25 to 2 in the regular season.
Hsiao's excellent performance assisted her team in beating Chunghua Telecom 3 to 0 in the final series.
She was previously named to Honorable Mention last year selection.
Hsiao's playmaking prowess was on full display as she secured the third position in points per game averaging over 13.
She was the Player of the Week honoree 8 times during the 26 campaign.
Hsiao led the WSBL in rebounds per game with almost 14.

Szu-Chin Pan, 33-year old guard from the Chunghua Telecom, was voted the Guard of the Year at the Super Basketball League.
She collected multiple other honors, was selected to the First Team and Defensive Team.
Pan's best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by Cathay Life 0 to 3.
She averaged over 9 points per game in the league.
Pan led the WSBL in assists per game with over 4.
Her 25 points against Taiyuan Textile were the most she scored in the 2026 season.
Oshlynn Brown, American forward from the Chunghua Telecom, was selected as the Forward of the Year of Super Basketball League.
She graduated from the Rutgers four years ago.
Brown received multiple other awards, was chosen to the First Team and Defensive Team.
Her best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by Cathay Life 0 to 3.
Brown received Player of the Week award four times during the 26 campaign.
Her masterful distribution skills earned her the second spot in points per game with an impressive average of almost 15 and third spot in rebounds per game, delivering an average of almost 11.
Brown has totalled 9 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 18 games on the year.
Her 30 points against Taiyuan Textile were the most she scored in the 2026 season.
Ajae Petty, American forward from the Taiyuan Textile, was named to the First Team at the Super Basketball League.
She Is the Ohio State alumna from 2025.
Petty also earned a spot in the Defensive Team.
Her consistent performance as a playmaker earned her the second ranked in rebounds per game, showcasing average of over 11.
Petty led the WSBL in points per game with over 19.
She has totalled 6 games of 20 or more points and had double-doubles in 7 games on the year.
Petty's 30 points against Taipower were the most she scored in the 2026 season.
The standout point guard Ping Luo was voted to the First Team of the championship-winning Cathay Life Tigers.
She was also selected to the Defensive Team.
Luo's excellent performance assisted her team in beating Chunghua Telecom 3 to 0 in the final series.
She was previously chosen to the First Team back in 2021 and Second Team last year.
Luo recorded over 8 points per game that season in the league.
Her 18 points against Chunghua Telecom were the most she scored in the 2026 season.
Among many awards she was selected to the Eurobasket All-World University Games First Team back in 2023.
She was also selected to the Asia-Basket All-Taiwanese WSBL Second Team in 2025.
