American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Yi-Hsiang Chou (191) chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Keelung BK players scored in double figures. American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Wei-Cheng Wang (183-1999) scored 10 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) saved the victory by scoring 28 points, 22 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Yi-Fan Wang (173-2000) contributed with 12 points for the winners. American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 18 rebounds and guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Taiwan Beer. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
