Moss number one in Taiwanese SBL for round 12 (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward Brandon Moss (204-PF-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Yulon Luxgen Dinos, receiving a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 20 rebounds, while his team edged out Taiwan Beer (#4, 11-16) 70-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Yulon Luxgen to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen has a very solid 19-8 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Moss had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Louisiana State University at Alexandria star has very solid stats this year. Moss is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.7ppg and leads league in rebounds with 17.7rpg. Moss is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.1apg) and averages impressive 2.2bpg and 57.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Gerard Tarin (205-F-1996) of Taiwan Beer. Tarin had a very good evening with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Taiwan Beer cruised to a 81-70 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Keelung BK (#3, 12-14). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Taiwan Beer consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-16 record. Tarin is a newcomer at Taiwan Beer, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.4ppg (#3). He also registered 12.5 boards per game. Former Nova Southeastern University star Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Nicholas Evans (210-F-1988, agency: Interperformances) of Changhua (#5). Evans showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Changhua, leading his team to a 69-62 win against the higher-ranked Yulon Luxgen (#1, 19-8). Changhua can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 6-20 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Evans has a very solid season. In 6 games in Taiwan he scored 22.8ppg. He also has 8.5rpg, 4.3apg and 1.5bpg.

9. Meng-Hsueh Lin (195-F-1993) of Keelung BK - 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Tien-You Yang (170-G-1993) of Changhua - 13 points and 2 assists
