Youssou Ndoye gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese TPBL

Experienced Senegalese Youssou Ndoye (213-C-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for Taipei Taishin Mars and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 34-year old center had a double-double of 37 points and 23 rebounds, while his team beat Kaohsiung A. (#7, 9-24) 104-93. Mars maintains the 6th position in Taiwanese TPBL. Taipei TM is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 11-21 record. In the team's last game Ndoye had a remarkable 82.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Mars, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Youssou Ndoye averages this season 12.8ppg and 11.1rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Jason Washburn (213-C-1990, agency: Pensack Sports) of New Taipei Kings. Washburn impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Kings to edge the lower-ranked Kaohsiung A. (#7, 9-24) by 1 point 112-111. Kings' 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 17-15 record is not bad at all. Washburn is well-known by Kings fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Aric Holman (208-F/C-1997) of second-ranked Formosa Dreamers. Holman got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for sixteen rebounds . He was a key player of Dreamers, leading his team to a 94-85 win against #3 ranked Lioneers in a game of the week. Dreamers needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 20 victories and 12 lost games. Holman has a great season in Taiwan. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.2rpg (5th best). He also has 1.6bpg and a FGP of 53.7%.

10. Marin Maric (211-C-1994) of Lioneers - 19 points and 15 rebounds
