Moss' double-double lands him SBL Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old American power forward Brandon Moss (204-PF-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Yulon Luxgen Dinos and receives a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 43 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Taiwan Beer (#4, 10-15) 77-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Yulon Luxgen to take over top position in the Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen has a very solid 18-7 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Moss had a remarkable 70.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Louisiana State University at Alexandria graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moss is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 17.8rpg. Moss is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.2apg) and averages solid 2.1bpg and 57.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nicholas Evans (210-F-1988, agency: Interperformances) of Changhua. He is American-Filipino forward in his first season at Changhua. In the last game Evans recorded an impressive 35 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Changhua lost that game 77-87 to slightly higher-ranked Keelung BK (#3, 12-12). Changhua are still at the very bottom. 20 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Changhua managed to get this year. Evans is one of the most experienced players at Changhua and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Gerard Tarin (205-F-1996) of Taiwan Beer (#4). Tarin showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 19 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Taiwan Beer, leading his team to a 90-80 win against #2 ranked Bank of Taiwan in a game of the week. The chances of Taiwan Beer ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 15 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Tarin could help Taiwan Beer to bring them higher in the standings. Tarin has a great season in Taiwan. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (4th best), rebounds with 12.7rpg (3rd best) and assists with 2.9apg (9th best). Tarin attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
