Brandon Moss gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese SBL

Experienced American Brandon Moss (204-PF-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Yulon Luxgen Dinos and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 31-year old power forward had a double-double of 24 points and 29 rebounds, while his team beat Bank of Taiwan (#1, 17-6) 65-57. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Yulon Luxgen maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen will need more victories to improve their 15-7 record. Moss just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Louisiana State University at Alexandria graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moss is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 17.8rpg. Moss is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.2apg) and averages solid 2.2bpg and 56.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Wendell Lewis (204-C-1989) of Keelung Black Kites. Lewis impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 35 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Keelung BK was edged by slightly higher-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#1, 17-6) 90-87. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Keelung BK still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 11-11 record is not bad at all. Lewis is one of the most experienced players at Keelung BK and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#2). He also registered 12.9 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American James Padgett (203-C/F-1991) of top-ranked Bank of Taiwan. Padgett scored 25 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Padgett's great performance the Bank of Taiwan lost 57-65 to #2 ranked Yulon Luxgen. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Bank of Taiwan needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 17 victories and 6 lost games. Padgett has a great season in Taiwan. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.2ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 12.2rpg (5th best).

9. Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-G-1991) of Keelung BK - 18 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Yi-Hsiang Chou (191-F) of Keelung BK - 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
