Ghosthawks sign Fardaws Aimaq

Fardaws Aimaq

TSG Ghosthawks (PLeague+) signed 27-year old Canadian forward Fardaws Aimaq (211cm-111kg-1999, college: California). He started the season at Lietkabelis in Lithuanian LKL league. In 8 games he had 10.6ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to make it to the Lithuanian Cup Semifinals. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Aimaq also played 10 games in Eurocup where he recorded 10.2ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.6apg. Last season he played at NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (A Division) in Hungarian league. He was a member of Canadian Senior National Team two years ago.
Among many awards, he won the Hungarian League championship title in 2025. Aimaq was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.
He graduated from the University of California in 2024 and is currently in his second season as a professional player. Aimaq played for other colleges such as Texas Tech University, Utah Valley University, and Mercer University.
