Bentil number one in Taiwan TPBL for round 21 (by Hoops Agents)

Ghanian-American Power forward Ben Bentil (206-F/C-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Formosa Dreamers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Taipei TM (#6, 9-18) with 22-point margin 118-96. Dreamers maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese TPBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Dreamers will need more victories to improve their 17-11 record. In the team's last game Bentil had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Dreamers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ben Bentil averages this season 21.6ppg and 11.8rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Montenegrin Marko Todorovic (208-F-1992) of New Taipei CTBC DEA. Todorovic had a very good evening with a double-double of 31 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led DEA to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Lioneers (#4, 14-12) 95-75. N.Taipei CTBC's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 14-13 record is not bad and everything may still change. Todorovic is a newcomer at N.Taipei CTBC, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.3ppg (#3). He also registered 13.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Cypriot center Darral Willis (206-C-1996) of Taipei Taishin Mars (#6). Willis scored 29 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Willis' great performance the Mars lost 96-118 to the higher-ranked Dreamers (#2, 17-11). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Taipei TM not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 18 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Willis could try to bring Taipei TM's a little bit higher in the standings. Willis has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.6ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 13.5rpg (2nd best).

9. Wei-Ting Lu (199-F-1997) of Kaohsiung A. - 20 points and 8 rebounds
10. Jin-Wei Gao (175-PG-2000) of Taiwan Beer L. - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists
