Moss' double-double lands him SBL Player of the Week award

31-year old American power forward Brandon Moss (204-PF-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Yulon Luxgen Dinos and receives a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 12 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Bank of Taiwan (#1, 12-5) 75-86. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Yulon Luxgen maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 11-7 record. In the team's last game Moss had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Louisiana State University at Alexandria graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moss is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.4ppg and leads league in rebounds with 17.7rpg. Moss is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 5.6apg) and averages solid 2.1bpg and 57.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kwame Alexander (201-F/C-1990, agency: BIG) of Changhua. He is American forward in his first season at Changhua. In the last game Alexander recorded an impressive double-double of 33 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Changhua lost that game 75-100 to the higher-ranked Yulon Luxgen (#2, 11-7). Changhua are still at the very bottom. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Changhua managed to get this year. Alexander is one of the most experienced players at Changhua and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.4ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 14.2rpg and 3.2apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Gerard Tarin (205-F-1996) of Taiwan Beer (#4). Tarin got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds and four assists. Despite Tarin's great performance the Taiwan Beer lost 75-79 to #3 ranked Keelung BK. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Taiwan Beer not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Tarin could try to bring Taiwan Beer's a little bit higher in the standings. Tarin has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.8ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 12.8rpg (3rd best). Tarin attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
