Goodwin's 28 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award

31-year old American guard Archie Goodwin (196-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Taipei Fubon Braves and receives a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had the game-high 28 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Fubon Braves in his team's victory, helping them to crush Ghosthawks (#2, 9-9) with 25-point margin 114-89. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Braves maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese PLeague+. Fubon Braves is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 6-11 record. In the team's last game Goodwin had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Braves' top player in his first season with the team. University of Kentucky graduate has very impressive stats this year. Goodwin is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.8ppg. Goodwin is in league's top in assists (9th best: 3.0apg) and averages solid 52.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Stefan Jankovic (211-C-1993, agency: BIG). He is Serbian-Canadian center in his first season at Fubon Braves. In the last game Jankovic recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Taipei Fubon Braves lost that game 91-109 to slightly higher-ranked Pilots (#1, 13-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Braves still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-11 record. Jankovic is one of the most experienced players at Braves and similarly like Archie Goodwin has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Fubon Braves' star - guard Yu-Wei Chen (183-PG-1999). Chen scored 23 points. He was another key player of Taipei Fubon Braves, helping his team with a 114-89 easy win against #2 ranked Ghosthawks. The chances of Braves not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Chen could try to bring Fubon Braves' a little bit higher in the standings. Chen has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.0apg (2nd best).
