Ajae Petty (ex Dynamo NR) signed by Taiyuan Textile

Taiyuan Textile (WSBL) strengthened their roster with the addition of 23-year-old American 190cm forward Ajae Petty (college: Ohio State). She joins another USA player Emily Maupin who is already on the team. Petty recently played at Dynamo Novosibirsk Region in the Russian PBL league. In 17 games, she recorded 11.1ppg and 8.6rpg last season, earning her the title of League Player of the Week.
In 2025, her team reached the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals.
She graduated from Ohio State in 2025 and is in her first season in pro basketball. She played for other colleges such as University of Kentucky and Louisiana State University.
