Hunter Maldonado (ex Brisbane) joins Aquas

Hunter Maldonado

Kaohsiung Aquas (TPBL) agreed terms with 26-year old American guard Hunter Maldonado (201cm-92kg-1999, college: Wyoming, agency: Octagon Europe). He just played at Brisbane Bullets in Australian NBL league. In 10 games he had very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.0apg and 1.8spg this season. He also played for another Australian team Phoenix (NBL).
Maldonado is a highly experienced player. His career has taken him to three continents, playing in four countries. He has experienced professional basketball in Europe, Australia, and North America. Maldonado has played for EnBW Ludwigsburg in Germany, OKC Blue in the NBA G League, and the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Summer League.
He won the NBA G League championship title in 2024.
Maldonado graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2023 and is currently in his third season as a professional player.
