Maker's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

25-year old KEN-SSDn Makur Maker (212-C/F-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Taipei Taishin Mars and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had a double-double of 48 points and 16 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Kings (#5, 11-11) 98-96. Mars maintains the 6th position in Taiwanese league. Taipei TM is currently ranked second from the bottom. But it was their 13th lost game this season out of 21 games. In the team's last game Maker had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Mars, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Makur Maker averages this season 31.4ppg and 15.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Cheick Diallo (206-C/F-1996) of top-ranked Taiwan Beer Leopards. He is Mali in his first season at Taiwan Beer L.. In the last game Diallo recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Leopards to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Kaohsiung A. (#7, 6-17) 101-75. Of course Taiwan Beer L. still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 16-5 record. Diallo is a newcomer at Taiwan Beer L. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.6ppg (#7). He also registered 11.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Ben Bentil (206-F/C-1995) of Formosa Dreamers (#3). Bentil showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 20 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Dreamers, leading his team to a 104-91 easy win against the lower-ranked Taipei TM (#6, 8-13). Dreamers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 11 lost games. Bentil has a very solid season. In 6 games in Taiwan he scored 21.0ppg.
