Carberry's 27 points give him Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award

34-year old American guard Tobin Carberry (192-G-1991) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked TSG Ghosthawks and receives a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 27 points adding four rebounds and three assists for Ghosthawks in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Pilots (#1, 11-1) with 26-point margin 110-84. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ghosthawks maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese PLeague+. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ghosthawks will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. In the team's last game Carberry had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Ghosthawks' top player in his first season with the team. Tobin Carberry averages this season 15.5ppg. Worth to mention Carberry played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Mao-Wei Ku (175-G-1999). He is international guard in his 4th season at Ghosthawks. In the last game Ku recorded an impressive 20 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course together with Carberry he helped TSG Ghosthawks with another comfortable win 86-67 over YKE (#4, 0-8) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Ghosthawks consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 8-6 record is not bad at all. Ku is one of the most experienced players at Ghosthawks and similarly like Tobin Carberry has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.1ppg (#8). He also recorded 6.1 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Ghosthawks' star - center Benas Griciunas (210-C-1994, agency: LHZ Sport Agency). Griciunas scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of TSG Ghosthawks, helping his team with a 97-91 win against #3 ranked Fubon Braves. Ghosthawks needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Griciunas has a great season in Taiwan. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.6rpg (4th best). He also has 1.1bpg and a FGP of 59.0%.
