Alexander number one in Taiwanese SBL for round 3 (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward Kwame Alexander (201-F/C-1990, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Changhua, receiving a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Keelung BK (#2, 4-3) 83-71. Changhua maintains the 5th position in Taiwanese SBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 5 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Alexander had a remarkable 57.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Changhua, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former California State University San Bernardino star has very solid stats this year. Alexander is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 14.4rpg) and assists (5th best: 3.6apg).

The second best player in last round's games was young American Brandon Moss (204-PF-1994) of Yulon Luxgen Dinos. Moss had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Yulon Luxgen was edged by Taiwan Beer (4-3) 68-66. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Moss is one of the most experienced players at Yulon Luxgen and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.0ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 19.7rpg and 6.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Wendell Lewis (204-C-1989) of league's second-best Keelung Black Kites. Lewis scored 26 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). Despite Lewis' great performance the Keelung BK lost 68-72 to #4 ranked Yulon Luxgen. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Keelung BK needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Lewis has a great season in Taiwan. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.4ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 11.7rpg (5th best). He also has 2.7bpg and a FGP of 62.4%.
