Griciunas number one in Taiwanese PLeague+ for round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

Lithuanian Center Benas Griciunas (210-C-1994, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked TSG Ghosthawks, receiving a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, seven rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team YKE (#4, 0-7) with 22-point margin 125-103. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ghosthawks maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese PLeague+. Ghosthawks is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. Griciunas turned to be Ghosthawks' top player in his first season with the team. Former Eastern Washington University star has very solid stats this year. Griciunas is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.9rpg) and averages impressive 63.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Ghosthawks' star - young American De'Mon Brooks (202-PF-1992). Brooks had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds. Of course together with Griciunas he helped TSG Ghosthawks with another comfortable win outscoring YKE (#4, 0-7) 125-103. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Ghosthawks consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 5-5 record is not bad at all. Brooks is well-known at Ghosthawks and together with Benas Griciunas are proven team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#2). He also registered 11.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Alec Brown (216-C-1992) of league's top team Taoyuan Pilots. Brown scored 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Pilots, leading his team to a 100-98 win against #2 ranked Ghosthawks. Pilots have amazing season winning all 10 games without a single defeat. Brown turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Brown has a great season in Taiwan. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.4rpg (6th best). He also has 2.2bpg, a FGP of 51.3% and 3PT: 44.9%.
