Mars add Maker to their roster

Makur Maker

Taipei Taishin Mars (TPBL) added 25-year old Kenyan-South Sudanese power forward Makur Maker (212cm-95kg-2000, college: Howard) to their roster. He started the season at Sagesse in Lebanese DLBL. In 5 games, he recorded impressive stats: 19.2ppg, 11.0rpg, and 1.2apg. He also played 2 games in West Asia Super League, averaging 11.0ppg, 10.5rpg, and 2.0bpg. Last summer, he played at Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) in the Libyan league.
He is a very experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. Maker tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America. He has played professionally in Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad), Australia (Kings), NBA G League (Raptors 905 Mississauga and Capital City Go-Go) and NBA Summer League (Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers).
Maker won the Saudi Arabian League championship title in 2025.
He graduated from Howard University in 2021 and is in his fifth season as a professional player.
