There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in SBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Round 2 most important game was a victory of Taiwan Beer over Bank of Taiwan 82-65 on Saturday night. Taiwan Beer shot 20 for 28 from the free-throw line, while Bank of Taiwan only scored four points from the stripe. 28 personal fouls committed by Bank of Taiwan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Chun-Sheng Wang (181-2003) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwan Beer are looking forward to face Yulon Luxgen in the next round. Bank of Taiwan's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Taipei to the arena Taiwan Beer.
Important game to mention about was the one when Yulon Luxgen saved a 2-point derby victory edging Changhua 82-80 on Thursday evening. American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 29 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Shao-Fu Lan chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Changhua's coach Chun-Hsiung Wu tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen will play against Keelung BK in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Changhua will play against Keelung BK to get more than just one victory in their record.
Very important is a loss of Yulon Luxgen against Bank of Taiwan on Sunday night. Yulon Luxgen was defeated by Bank of Taiwan 72-57. James Padgett notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 24 points, 23 rebounds and 5 assists by Brandon Moss did not help to save the game for Yulon Luxgen. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bank of Taiwan's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Taipei to the arena Taiwan Beer.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: Bank of Taiwan lost to undefeated Keelung BK 61-73. Bottom-ranked Changhua lost to undefeated Keelung BK 82-87. Bottom-ranked Changhua unfortunately lost to Taiwan Beer 68-81.



Keelung BK - Bank of Taiwan 73-61

No shocking result in a game when Keelung BK beat Bank of Taiwan 73-61 on Thursday. Keelung BK looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks to lead the effort and forward Yi-Hsiang Chou (191) supported him with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for Bank of Taiwan. The former international point guard Wei-Cheng Wang (183-1999) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Keelung BK. Bank of Taiwan's coach En-Chieh Cheng let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Keelung BK will meet Changhua in the next round. Even 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by guard Houng-Yang Tsai (181-2000) did not help to save the game for Changhua.
