Taiyuan Textile tabs Emily Maupin, ex Leonas

Emily Maupin

Taiyuan Textile (WSBL) signed 26-year-old American 192cm forward Emily Maupin (college: Virginia). She competed last summer with Leonas in Puerto Rican BSNF. In two games, she averaged an impressive 16.0ppg, 6.5rpg, and 2.0spg.
She has also played professionally in Poland (Pruszkow).
Her college team won the CAA Tournament in 2018.
Maupin graduated from the University of Virginia in 2021 and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball. She also played for Elon University for 3 years.
