Lu's 43-point game gives him PLeague+ Player of the Week award

28-year old center Chun-Hsiang Lu (190-C-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Taoyuan Pilots and receives a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 43 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Pilots in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team YKE (#4, 0-6) with 36-point margin 131-95. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Pilots to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese PLeague+. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Pilots keeps a perfect 9-0 record. In the team's last game Lu had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got eight three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He has many years of experience at Pilots, through which he has constantly improved. Lu has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.9ppg), assists (3rd best: 4.9apg) and averages solid 45.2% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Treveon Graham (198-G-1993). He is American guard in his second season at Pilots. In the last game Graham recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Lu he helped Taoyuan Pilots with another comfortable win outscoring YKE (#4, 0-6) 131-95. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Pilots consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Pilots managed to win all 9 games keeping a perfect record. Graham is well-known at Pilots and together with Chun-Hsiang Lu he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 8.0rpg and 4.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-C-1991, agency: BIG) of Hsinchu Yankey Engineering (#4). Kupsas scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Kupsas' great performance the YKE lost 95-131 to #1 ranked Pilots. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. YKE can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 6 games. Kupsas has individually a great season in Taiwan. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 11.5rpg (2nd best).
