Naturalized American Will Artino (211-C/F-1992) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Taoyuan Pilots, receiving a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team YKE (#4, 0-4) with 36-point margin 127-91. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Pilots to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese PLeague+. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Pilots already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Artino had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Pilots' top player in his first season with the team. Former Creighton University star has very solid stats this year. Artino is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.0ppg) and averages impressive 1.8bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American De'Mon Brooks (202-PF-1992) of league's second-best TSG Ghosthawks. Brooks had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Ghosthawks to another comfortable win outscoring YKE (#4, 0-4) 114-89. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Ghosthawks consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Brooks is well-known at Ghosthawks and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.4ppg (#3). He also registered 10.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Ghosthawks' star - international forward Chieh-Yu Han (194-PF-1999). Han got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and five assists. He was another key player of TSG Ghosthawks, helping his team with a 114-89 easy win against #4 ranked YKE. Ghosthawks needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Han has a great season in Taiwan. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.7ppg (6th best) and assists with 3.7apg (8th best).
