New Taipei CTBC DEA lands Lewis Beech, ex Zadar

Lewis Beech

New Taipei CTBC DEA (TPBL) has signed 31-year-old American 203cm power forward Lewis Beech, who played college basketball at UNF. Beech previously played for KK Zadar in the Croatian Premijer Liga, averaging 9.4ppg and 3.2rpg in 11 games, as well as 7.6ppg and 3.5rpg in 10 games in the ABA League. Last season, he played for the Formosa Dreamers.
Beech has attempted to make it to the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. Beech is familiar with European, Asian, and North American leagues. He has played professionally in Germany (Hamburg Towers), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki), Poland (Czarni), Russia (Enisey), Serbia (KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd), and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Long Island Nets). His team was regular season runner-up in Taiwanese League in 2025. Beech was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Taiwanese League Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from the University of North Florida in 2016, and it's his tenth season in pro basketball.
