Dreamers welcome back Boyd

Julian Boyd

Formosa Dreamers (TPBL) signed experienced 35-year-old American 203cm forward Julian Boyd (college: LIU Brooklyn). It marks his return to Changhua, where he previously played. Boyd excelled as the top rebounder for Pilots in the PLeague+ last season, averaging an impressive 17.1ppg, 10.3rpg, and 1.4apg in 23 games, helping them secure the PLeague+ title. He was recognized for his outstanding performance by being voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Taiwanese PLeague+ All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team, and earning the League Player of the Week title three times.
Boyd is a very experienced player. He has traveled quite a bit during his pro career, playing in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). Boyd has played professionally in China (Zhuhai), Finland (Porvoon Tarmo), Iceland (KR Reykjavik), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem and Kiryat Ata), and Canada (London Lightning).
Among many awards, he was selected as the Asia-Basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Import Player of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from Long Island University in 2014 and it'll be his 12th season in pro basketball.
