Benas Griciunas (ex Gargzdu) joins Ghosthawks

Benas Griciunas

TSG Ghosthawks (PLeague+) added to their roster 31-year old Lithuanian center Benas Griciunas (210cm-104kg-1994, college: EWU, agency: LHZ Sport Agency). He already started the season at Gargzdu in Lithuanian LKL league. In 9 games he had 11.3ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1bpg. Last season he played at KB Peja (Superliga) in Kosovan league. He also played for Rasta Vechta (BBL) in German league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. Griciunas also played 5 games in German BBL where he recorded just 1.6ppg and 1.6rpg.
He is a quite experienced player. Griciunas has played professionally in Germany, Kosovo, and Poland (Start and Czarni) and Lithuania (Lietkabelis, Neptunas, and Siauliai).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2018 and it is his eighth season as a professional player. Griciunas played for other colleges like The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Auburn University.
