Craig Sword agreed terms with Lioneers- November 8, 2025
The majority of last season he spent at Aquas where in 32 TPBL games he did not score anything and had only 172 rebounds and 118 assists. He helped them to make it to the Taiwanese League final. Great season indeed as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Taiwanese League Honorable Mention and All-Imports Team. Sword also played for JackJumpers (NBL) in Australian league. He was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2022 and 2023. Sword is a very experienced player. He has traveled quite extensively during his pro career, playing in nine different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and North America). Sword has played professionally in Australia, Mexico (Rayos de Hermosillo and Astros), Poland (Wilki Morskie), Venezuela (Spartans), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards, and Indiana Pacers), NBA G League (Noblesville Boom, College Park SkyHawks, and Capital City Go-Go), The Basketball Tournament (Team 23), NBA Summer League (Washington Wizards and GS Warriors), and TBL (Cent.Al. J. and Omaha F.). He won the TBT championship title in 2023. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2016 and it'll be his tenth season in pro basketball.
