Hsinchu Yankey Engineering inks Quincy Davis

Hsinchu Yankey Engineering (PLeague+) signed experienced 42-year old Taiwanese-American ex-international power forward Quincy Davis (203cm-108kg-1983, college: Tulane). He is the second foreign player in the roster as Scottish Marcus Quirk signed here earlier. He has played for the last three seasons at Kings in the TPBL. In 5 PLeague+ games he had 7.2ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.2apg in 2023-24 year. PLeague+ will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played 8 games in East Asia Super League where he recorded 3.6ppg and 2.8rpg in 2023-24 year. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Davis is a very experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). Davis has played professionally in China, Cyprus (Etha), Portugal (Belenenses), Turkey (Bornova), Venezuela, USA, Taiwan (Pauian and Pilots), and The Basketball Tournament (Venice Beach).
Among many awards, Davis' team won the Taiwanese PLeague+ Regular Season in 2023. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Taiwanese PLeague+ Honorable Mention in 2023. Davis is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Hsinchu Yankey Engineering.
He graduated from Tulane University in 2006 and it'll be his 20th (!!!) season as a pro player.
