The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Kings against N.Taipei CTBC on Saturday night. N.Taipei CTBC were defeated by N.Taipei CTBC 105-89. N.Taipei CTBC looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Swedish forward Viktor Gaddefors (201-1992, agency: 011 Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. contributed with 26 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for Kings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. N.Taipei CTBC is looking forward to face Taiwan Beer L. in Taoyuan in the next round. Kings will play on the road against Kaohsiung A. and are hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about was the one when Taipei TM saved a 3-point derby victory edging Kings 123-120 on Sunday evening. American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) had a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 14 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Stanton Kidd chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The game in Changhua supposed to be also quite interesting. Leopards played at the court of Dreamers. Leopards smashed Dreamers 104-83 on Sunday. Lasan Kromah notched a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by Brandon Gilbeck did not help to save the game for Dreamers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leopards will meet N.Taipei CTBC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dreamers will have a break next round.
