Jayden Gardner (ex Vechta) signs at Kings

Defending champion New Taipei Kings (TPBL) signed 25-year-old American 201cm forward Jayden Gardner (college: Virginia, agency: MSG). He was the top rebounder at Rasta Vechta in the German BBL league. The team competed in three different competitions last season, allowing him to experience basketball at various levels. In 31 BBL games, he averaged 10.3ppg and 7.2rpg. Gardner also played 6 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he posted averages of 13.8ppg, 7.3rpg, and 1.2apg. In the 2023-24 season, he played for House of Talents Kortrijk Spurs in the Belgian league.
Between 2023 and 2024, Gardner's team won the ACC Regular Season. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-BNXT League Honorable Mention in 2024.
He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2023 and it'll be his third season in pro basketball. Gardner played also for East Carolina University for 3 years.
