Fubon Braves land Archie Goodwin

Archie Goodwin

Taipei Fubon Braves (PLeague+) tabbed 31-year old American 196cm guard Archie Goodwin (college: Kentucky). He played most recently at La Familia (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
In 2013 he was drafted by Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in first round (29th overall). The former University of Kentucky star is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in thirteen different countries playing on four different continents. Goodwin is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in China (Golden Bulls, Jiangsu Dragons and Rockets), France (Metropolitans), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion), Lebanon (Beirut Club), Mexico (El Calor), Puerto Rico (Santeros), Qatar (Al Sadd), Turkey (Bakirkoy), Ukraine (Budivelnyk), NBA (Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets), NBA G League (NAZ Suns, Maine Celtics and Greensboro Swarm) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete, Team Challenge ALS and Eberlein Drive).
Among many awards Goodwin's team made it to the The Basketball Tournament Semifinals in 2024. Goodwin was voted to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2020.
