Chaundee Brown Jr. (ex Kobe S.) is a newcomer at Kings

Chaundee Brown

Defending champion New Taipei Kings (TPBL) added 26-year-old American 195cm guard Chaundee Brown Jr. (college: Michigan) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. He was the top scorer at Kobe Storks in the Japanese B2 League last season, with impressive stats of 19.1ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.2spg in 58 games. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B2 League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (3 times). In the 2023-24 season, he played for EWE Baskets (BBL) in the German league and also for SIG Strasbourg (Betclic ELITE ProA) in the French league.
Brown was a member of the USA U19 National Team in 2017.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America) in eight different countries. Brown has played professionally in Canada (Shooting Stars), France, Germany, Puerto Rico (Gigantes and Indios), NBA (Atlanta Hawks and LA Lakers), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and South Bay Lakers), and NBA Summer League (Atlanta Hawks and San Antonio Spurs).
Among many awards, his team made it to the NBA G League Winter Showcase Cup Final Four in 2022. He received the Gatorade and 4A Florida Player of the Year award back in 2017 during high school.
Brown graduated from the University of Michigan in 2021, and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. He played for Wake Forest University for 3 years as well.
