Kaohsiung A. - Dreamers 88-79

Aquas forced 19 Dreamers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Kaleb Wesson (208-1999, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. The former international Long-Mao Hu (195-1992, college: Chaminade) chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Aric Holman (208-1997, college: MSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and international center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dreamers' coach Jamie Pearlman rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Taipei TM - Kings 104-113

Kings players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 8 rebounds. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Kings players scored in double figures. French Adrien Moerman (202-1988) answered with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 8 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the former international forward Samuel Manu (201-2000, college: UC Davis) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Taipei TM. Taipei TM's coach Hao-Cheng Hsu tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
