Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Kings (26-10) against second ranked Dreamers on Saturday night. Dreamers were rolled over by second ranked Dreamers (21-15) 115-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kings. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Dreamers forced 23 Kings turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Beau Beech (203-1994, college: UNF) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Po-Chen Chou (198-1990) chipped in 7 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Guard Joseph Lin (186-1992, college: Hamilton) responded with 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dreamers maintains second position with 21-15 record having five points less than leader Kings. Kings at the other side still keep top place with ten games lost.
Very important is a loss of second ranked Dreamers (21-15) against sixth ranked Leopards (16-20) on Sunday night. Dreamers were crushed by Leopards 104-85. American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) notched a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists to lead the effort and Devin Williams supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) by Bosnian-Croatian center Markus Loncar (213-1996) did not help to save the game for Dreamers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with N.Taipei CTBC and Taipei TM. Dreamers at the other side keep the second position with 15 games lost.
