Yulon Luxgen took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-18. But Bank of Taiwan won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Bank of Taiwan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Brandon Moss (207-1994, college: LSUA) fired a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 22 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks for the winners. The former international point guard Ming-Yi Lin (178-1996) chipped in 6 points and 8 assists. American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Wei-Cheng Wang (180-1999) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
