Cathay Life - Chunghua T. 78-60

Chunghwa Telecom was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Cathay Life dominated on the defensive end, holding Chunghwa Telecom to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Australian center Cayla George (193-1989) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and center Yu-Wen Hsiao (184-2005) chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). At the losing side the former international forward Jia-Wei Liu (175-1988) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and guard You-Yiwen Wang (175-1996) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
