Glass number one in Taiwanese SBL for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

American Center Tevin Glass (203-C-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for Bank of Taiwan, receiving a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 39 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Changhua (#4, 12-18) 76-67. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Bank of Taiwan maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese SBL. Bank of Taiwan is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-16 record. Glass just recently signed at Bank of Taiwan, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former East Tennessee State University star has very solid stats this year. Glass is in league's top in points (2nd best: 24.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.4rpg), assists (7th best: 2.6apg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg and 2.4spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Erdenetsetseg Sugar-Ochir (200-C-1999) of Changhua. Sugar-Ochir had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Changhua lost that game 67-76 to slightly higher-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#3, 14-16). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Changhua still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-18 record. Sugar-Ochir is well-known at Changhua and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.8ppg (#5). He also registered 8.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Changhua's star - forward Jia-Chang Wang (191-F-2001). Wang scored 18 points. He was another key player of Changhua, helping his team with a 85-56 easy win against #1 ranked Yulon Luxgen. The chances of Changhua ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 18 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Wang could help Changhua to bring them higher in the standings. Wang has a great season in Taiwan. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 1.2apg (2nd best).

8. Kuo-Lun Pu (195-G-2001) of Yulon Luxgen - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
9. I-Tsung Chu (186-F-1986) of Taiwan Beer - 24 points and 3 rebounds
10. Joof Alasan (205-F-2002) of Taiwan Beer - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
