The most exciting game of round 19 in the T1 League ended with only three-point defeat of 5th ranked Taipei TM (13-17) to sixth ranked Leopards (10-15) 100-97 on Friday evening. 28 personal fouls committed by Taipei TM helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Sin-Kuan Lin (193-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) contributed with 15 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Leopards' coach Charles Dube-Brais used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Malcolm Miller (201-1993, college: Holy Cross) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists for Taipei TM. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 10-15 record. Taipei TM lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 17 games lost. Taiwan Beer L. are looking forward to face league's leader Kings in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Taipei TM will play at home against Kaohsiung A. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a loss of second ranked Dreamers (16-12) against seventh ranked Lioneers (10-20) on Saturday night. Dreamers were defeated by Lioneers 107-90. It was a great evening for American guard Landers Nolley II (201-2000, college: Cincinnati) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Kennedy Meeks helped adding 19 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Randall Walko (196-1998, college: TCNJ) responded with 20 points. Dreamers' coach Jamie Pearlman rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Lioneers maintains seventh place with 10-20 record. Dreamers at the other side keep the second position with 12 games lost. Lioneers will play against league's leader Kings in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dreamers will play on the road against Taipei TM and hope to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game for Kings (20-6) which played against 3rd placed Aquas (15-14). First ranked Kings had an easy win 111-91. It was an exceptional evening for Austin Daye who led the winners and scored 32 points and 8 rebounds. Craig Sword came up with 22 points for Kaohsiung A. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kings have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-6 record. Loser Aquas keeps the third position with 14 games lost. Kings will meet Taiwan Beer L. (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Kaohsiung A. will play against Taipei TM and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games in round 19 were not that significant. Taipei TM was beaten by Kings 112-96. Bottom-ranked Lioneers lost to N.Taipei CTBC 91-97. Taipei TM unfortunately lost to Lioneers 92-103. Kings managed to beat Kaohsiung A. 106-92.
The most impressive performance of 19th round was 28 points and 10 rebounds by Jason Washburn of Kings.
