Isaiah Briscoe gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese PLeague+ (by Hoops Agents)

American Isaiah Briscoe (190-PG-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kaohsiung Steelers and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 28-year old playmaker had a double-double of 45 points and 15 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Tainan GH (#3, 13-11) 107-104. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Steelers maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese PLeague+. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Steelers have already lost 20 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Briscoe had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Steelers' top player in his first season with the team. University of Kentucky graduate has very impressive stats this year. Briscoe is league's best scorer averaging so far 33.1ppg and is league's best passer with 8.4apg. Briscoe is in league's top in and averages solid 54.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Brandon Walters (208-C-1995) of second-ranked Taipei Fubon Braves. Walters impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Fubon Braves to edge slightly lower-ranked Steelers (#4, 2-20) by 6 points 119-113. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Fubon Braves consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 14-9 record is not bad at all. Walters is a newcomer at Fubon Braves and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Branden Frazier (191-G-1992) of Tainan GhostHawks (#3). Frazier got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and six assists. He was a key player of GhostHawks, leading his team to a 107-104 win against #4 ranked Steelers. Tainan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 11 lost games. Frazier has a great season in Taiwan. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.3ppg (4th best) and assists with 5.0apg (4th best).
