Moss number one in Taiwanese SBL for round 7

American Power forward Brandon Moss (207-PF-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Yulon Luxgen Dinos, receiving a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 23 rebounds, while his team edged out Changhua (#3, 10-11) 86-83. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Yulon Luxgen to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen has a very solid 13-8 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Moss just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Louisiana State University at Alexandria star has very solid stats this year. Moss is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.8ppg. Moss is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 19.9rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.7apg) and averages impressive 2.4bpg and 50.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Erdenetsetseg Sugar-Ochir (200-C-1999) of Changhua. Sugar-Ochir had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Changhua was edged by slightly higher-ranked Yulon Luxgen (#1, 13-8) 86-83. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Changhua still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-11 record. Sugar-Ochir is well-known at Changhua and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 11.8ppg (#7). He also registered 6.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Tevin Glass (203-C-1994) of Bank of Taiwan (#4). Glass scored 26 points and grabbed 22 rebounds (!!!). Despite Glass' great performance the Bank of Taiwan lost 80-84 to #1 ranked Yulon Luxgen. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Bank of Taiwan not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 13 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Glass could try to bring Bank of Taiwan's a little bit higher in the standings. Glass has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.5ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 14.4rpg (3rd best).

9. Chieh-Min Lu (183-G-1995) of Taiwan Beer - 25 points and 2 assists
10. Chia-Wei Chien (188-G-1998) of Bank of Taiwan - 18 points and 3 rebounds
