Moss' double-double lands him SBL Player of the Week award

30-year old American power forward Brandon Moss (207-PF-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Yulon Luxgen Dinos and receives a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 20 rebounds, while his team beat Bank of Taiwan (#4, 6-12) 87-79. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Yulon Luxgen to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen has a very solid 11-7 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Moss had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Louisiana State University at Alexandria graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moss is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.5ppg. Moss is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 19.9rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.7apg) and averages solid 2.5bpg and 50.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tevin Glass (203-C-1994) of Bank of Taiwan. He is American center in his first season at Bank of Taiwan. In the last game Glass recorded an impressive double-double of 44 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Bank of Taiwan lost that game 79-87 to the higher-ranked Yulon Luxgen (#1, 11-7). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Bank of Taiwan still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-12 record. Glass is one of the most experienced players at Bank of Taiwan and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#2). He also registered 14.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward John Fields (205-F/C-1988) of Changhua (#3). Fields scored 23 points and grabbed 23 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Changhua, leading his team to a 92-81 win against #2 ranked Taiwan Beer. Changhua needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 9 lost games. Fields has a great season in Taiwan. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.4ppg (4th best), rebounds with 22.5rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 2.5apg (8th best). He also has 1.4bpg and a FGP of 61.7%.
