Top ranked Taiwan Beer (9-6) recorded its sixth loss against fourth ranked Bank of Taiwan on Sunday night. Bank of Taiwan were edged by fourth ranked Bank of Taiwan (5-10) 82-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. Bank of Taiwan forced 19 Taiwan Beer turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bank of Taiwan made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Chia-He Chang (188-1996) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Shih-En Fan (198-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. American Brandon Moss (207-1994, college: LSUA) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and international center Shao-Fu Lan (195-1997) scored 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Changhua moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Yulon Luxgen. Changhua will again meet league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer in Taipei and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
