Arnett Moultrie joins Aquas

Kaohsiung Aquas (TPBL) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American center Arnett Moultrie (208cm-113kg-1990, college: MSU, agency: Octagon Europe). He just played at Fubon Braves in Taiwanese PLeague+. In 8 games he had 11.4ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.3apg this season. He also played for Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion (National League) in Israeli league.
In 2012 he was drafted by Miami Moultrieat (NBA) in first round (27th overall). He graduated from Mississippi State University and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Moultrie represented USA at the World Championship U19 in New Zealand sixteen years ago. Moultrie's team won Gold and he had over 4 points per game.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in fifteen different countries. Moultrie tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), China (Jiangsu Dragons, Moultriebei, Flying Tigers, Eagles and Monkey Kings), Iran (Mahram), Israel, Latvia, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Philippines (Warriors), Puerto Rico (Osos), Russia (Parma-Pari), Turkey (Ankara D.S.I.), Uruguay (Defensor), South Korea (KoGas and Anyang), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
Among many awards his team made it to the Taiwanese T1 League Semifinals in 2023. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Import Player of the Year back in 2022.
