Perkins number one in Taiwanese PLeague+ for round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward Nick Perkins (203-F/C-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for Tainan GhostHawks, receiving a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Fubon Braves (#2, 5-6) 99-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. GhostHawks maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese PLeague+. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Tainan will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Perkins had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be GhostHawks's top player in his first season with the team. Nick Perkins averages this season 24.0ppg and 8.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-G-1982) of league's second-best Taipei Fubon Braves. Lin had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Fubon Braves lost that game 100-106 to slightly higher-ranked Pilots (#1, 9-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Fubon Braves still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Lin is one of the most experienced players at Fubon Braves and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Alec Brown (216-C-1992) of league's top team Taoyuan Pilots. Brown scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Pilots, leading his team to a 106-100 win against #2 ranked Fubon Braves. Pilots confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 3 lost games. Brown has a great season in Taiwan. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.6ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 9.3rpg (5th best). He also has 2.0bpg and a FGP of 57.6%.
