Fubon Braves tab Arnett Moultrie, ex M.Rishon- November 30, 2024
In 2012 he was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) in first round (27th overall). The former Mississippi State University standout is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. He represented USA at the World Championship U19 in New Zealand fifteen years ago. Moultrie's team won Gold and he had over 4 points per game. He is a very experienced player. Moultrie has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to sixteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), China (Jiangsu Dragons, Moultriebei, Flying Tigers, Monkey Kings and Royal Fighters), Iran (Mahram), Israel, Latvia, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Philippines (Warriors), Puerto Rico (Osos), Russia (Parma-Pari), Turkey (Ankara D.S.I.), Uruguay (Defensor), NBA (NY Knicks), South Korea (KoGas and Anyang), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete) and Taiwan (Suns). Among many awards Moultrie's team made it to the Taiwanese T1 League Semifinals in 2023. He received Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Player of the Year award and Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Import Player of the Year award in 2022.
