Wesson's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

25-year old American Kaleb Wesson (208-C/F-1999) had a great game in the last round for Kaohsiung Aquas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Dreamers (#1, 5-1) 90-99. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Aquas maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese league. Kaohsiung A. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 3rd lost game this season out of 6 games. In the team's last game Wesson had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Aquas's top player in his first season with the team. Ohio State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wesson is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.4ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.2rpg), assists (9th best: 4.2apg) and averages solid 1.6bpg,56.1% FGP and 44.8% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Igor Zaytsev (210-C/F-1989, agency: BIG) of Taipei Taishin Mars. He is Ukrainian in his first season at Taipei TM. In the last game Zaytsev recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Taipei TM cruised to a 94-84 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Lioneers (#5, 2-3). Despite this victory they still are the lowest ranked team. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Taipei TM managed to get this year. Zaytsev is a newcomer at Taipei TM and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Chien-Hao Ma (201-F-2001) of league's leader Taishin Dreamers. Ma scored 21 points and passed 5 assists. He was a key player of Dreamers, leading his team to a 99-90 win against #3 ranked Kaohsiung A. in a game of the week. Dreamers confirms their top position in the standings. Ma has a great season in Taiwan. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 2.3rpg (9th best).
